Important, European rulers, decorated their palaces with Bohemia crystal. And now still, in the 21st century is this Bohemia quality glass work handcrafted in small family businesses through the same technology.
By standards of the European union glass work with less than 4% lead oxide is called glass; with over 10% lead oxide crystal and with at least 24% lead oxide leadcrystal. When the amount exceeds 30% it is called high leadcrystal. In the United States is glass work with a minimum of 1% lead oxide already called crystal.
